Master Yunxiu Yang楊雲秀 is a certified First Class Coach of Chinese Martial Art, an International Eighth Duan of Chinese Martial Art, and a certified National First Class Judge of Chinese Martial Art. She was the Tai-Chi head coach of Liaoning province’s Wushu (Chinese Martial Art) team. She was also the co-director of Liaoning Traditional Rehabilitation and Meditation Center.

During her coaching years in China, Master Yang not only instructed her students but also competed in various competitions herself. As one of the top Tai Chi masters, she was chose to represent China to compete in 2004 Pan-Asia Martial Art Championship. She won the gold medal in Tai Chi Chuan competition.

After more than twenty years coaching experience in China, Master Yang retired in 2006 and came to Atlanta Georgia to visit her daughter and grandsons. She fell in love with the green surroundings. In 2007, she came back to the U.S. and opened her school.

Master Yang had leant her skills from various grandmasters and established her unique style. In her classes, she not only teaches the postures but also explains and demonstrates the purpose of each move. Based on the skill levels of students, she instructs accordingly, from simple to more challenge routines, from external postures to move internal energy (Qi), from physical exercise to mental meditation. She teaches not only the movements but the wisdom and the art of Tai Chi.
